Victory for the Middle Class Lobby Day (HB323 Vote)
You worked hard in 2011 to defeat “Right-to-Work” and protect middle class jobs – and we won.
You worked hard in 2012 to help elect pro-labor candidates to the NH House & Senate – and we won that round, too.
But losing the Speaker’s seat and the GOP majority in the state House hasn’t deterred Bill O’Brien from taking another swing at New Hampshire’s hard-working families – and this year he introduced yet another version of so-called “Right-to-Work” legislation (HB323). The House Labor Committee moved quickly to vote HB323 “Inexpedient to Legislate”, and the bill comes up for a full vote in House of Representatives next week.
We’re going to win this one, too – so join your Brothers & Sisters in Concord on Wednesday, February 13 and help us give RTW 2013 a Great Big Pro-Worker Kiss Good-Bye! We’ll meet at the America Votes office at 9:00 am and walk over together to fill the seats in the House gallery for the 10:00 am session (the RTW vote should wrap up before noon). If you can’t join us before 10am, go directly to the Reps Hall visitor's gallery.
