* Stress the need for tax reform like House Bill 174. It will raise adequate revenue for essential services (like education, health care, human services, public safety, etc.) and make taxes fairer.

* Speak from your personal experience about the services you—or someone in your family or community—need, provide or care about, and how they are being harmed by the broken budget.

* Keep it short, passionate and to the point: “We can’t wait for a responsible budget with tax reform like House Bill 174—our schools, hospitals, libraries, universities, children, seniors, communities and jobs depend on it!”
