Final Cut Pro Basics Classes

Final Cut Pro is at the center of digital media production.  It empowers creators to store and edit their material in a format that has been very widely adopted.  We will offer three courses in FCP  – one introductory, one advanced beginner, and a third that will be either, based on member interest.  Each course will be taught in the state-of-the-art facility at the Borough of Manhattan Community College.  Each course will include 24 hours of instruction in the classroom, over three consecutive 8-hour days.  (The WGAE will make Flip Cameras available to students enrolled in these classes.)

Important:  in addition to RSVPing for any of these classes, you must fill out a short survey on your knowledge and experience.

Our first of these courses is FINAL CUT PRO BASICS.

PREREQUISITES - demonstrated interest in digital media production and a certain amount of computer savvy; all students must have a version of Final Cut on their computers so they can practice at home.
