AFA Regional Member Forum

Will you be in Atlanta next Wednesday, February 9th?

Stop by the Crowne Plaza ATL for the AFA Regional Member Forum, from 1pm to 3pm.

AFA is built by Flight Attendants and run by Flight Attendants. That's why our International Officers Veda Shook, Sara Nelson and Kevin Creighan are dedicating time in the first few months of office to speak directly with you.

Delta Flight Attendants may not be members of AFA yet, but that is going to change.  We will play a crucial role in shaping our profession and our union in the future once we are given the opportunity for a fair and interference-free election.

Flight Attendant Health and Safety at Risk

The Senate is debating the provisions of the FAA Reauthorization Bill and this is our chance to finally get the workplace safety and health protections afforded by OSHA.

Senator Rand Paul has introduced an amendment to take these protections for Flight Attendants and passengers out of the bill.  We can’t let that happen.  We can’t let Senator Paul get away with denying Flight Attendants and airline passengers the most basic safety and health protections such as sanitation and cabin temperatures.

We need every Flight Attendant calling your Senate offices all day Wednesday with this message:

“Hello, I am a Flight Attendant and a constituent.  Protect my workplace with health and safety standards.  Oppose Senator Paul’s amendment to the FAA Reauthorization Act, S. 223.  Don’t let him put airline passengers and my co-workers at risk.  Keep OSHA protections for Flight Attendants in the bill.  Thank you.”
