Democracy wins again!

Democracy wins again! The U.S. District Court in Washington, DC has just issued its decision granting summary judgment to the National
Mediation Board (NMB), the latest of three legal decisions all in support of new voting procedures. The order denies the preliminary injunction request made by ATA/Delta. U.S. District Judge Paul Friedman indicated a written opinion will follow on Monday, June 28th.
The new voting rules have now won three times. First, the NMB issued the new voting rule, establishing more democratic representational elections. Second, the rules were again supported when the U.S. District Court ruled in favor of the NMB following the ATA's motion for discovery. And today, we have won the battle over an injunction to prevent the rule from becoming final on June 30.
