Dear Supporter,
As we prepare for Hurricane Irene's arrival the following plan is being put into place.
ORF/RIC: We will be canceling Saturday afternoon and r.o.n. a/c SAT night. Our First a/c in will be on SUN.
DC Metros: plan is to cancel from 6pm SAT through all day SUN.. First a/c in will be with MON arrivals.
PHL : we will cancel all day SUN and try to move out all r.o.n. aircraft SAT night. First a/c in will be with MON arrivals.
NYC Metros: also canceled all day SUN and will try to move out all r.o.n aircraft SAT night. First a/c in will be with MON arrivals.
BOS : cancel all day SUN and will try to move out all r.o.n aircraft SAT night. First a/c in will be with MON arrivals.
New England stations (i.e. PVD/BDL) will have to be addressed as needed.
CLT : will be a normal operation, please limit additional a/c to park CLT due to runway constraints.
Effective today until further notice we will be operating under the Systems Irregular Operations provisions of the contract.
In addition to the affected cities; IFS has authorized DCA Flight Crews to utilize the Long Term Parking Lot. Please remember to retain receipts for reimbursement.
Every effort has been made to contact the F/As affected however if you are unsure about the status of your flights please contact Crew Scheduling
Updates from the Company to AFA will be ongoing, and you may also utilize the Operational Alert Bulletin via 1-800-327-0117 Prompt #1 for additional information.
LEC #41 also has a new phone system called Grasshopper for after hours and emergency calls. Just call 1-855-GOAFAUS and follow the prompts.
