Support AT&T Park Concession Workers’ fight for a fair contract
Over the past three years, the San Francisco Giants have won two World Series Championships and achieved astonishing financial success. Meanwhile, the hardworking concession workers at AT&T Park have been rewarded with a Giant Zero.
Zero wage increases.
Zero respect for our important role in the Giants fan experience.
Our primary dispute is with Centerplate, the Giants' subcontractor that directly employs about 800 concessions workers at AT&T Park. Our union has been trying to negotiate a fair contract with Centerplate.
Centerplate has told us that the Giants take more than 50% of all food and beverage revenues. That means that out of a $10 beer, Centerplate is left with less than $5 to pay for the beer, the delivery of the beer, the workers' wages and benefits, and still earn a profit.
The giant share that the Giants take is part of the problem!
Please sign this petition calling on the Giants and Centerplate to take care of the workers who take care of the fans.
I support AT&T Park Concession Workers in their struggle for a fair contract with decent wages and benefits. I call on the Giants and Centerplate to take care of the workers who take care of the fans.
