This Sunday at 7 p.m., I will hold an emergency tele-town hall meeting for all Wisconsin letter carriers about next Tuesday’s election to recall Gov. Scott Walker and to say “no” to his attacks on labor and collective bargaining.
You should get a phone call inviting you to join this brief but important conference call. If you don’t receive that call, you can join in at any time by calling 888-409-5380. This is a toll-free call.
Whether or not you join the call, please go to the NALC website, nalc.org, and look for “How can I help in Wisconsin?” on the home page, or go to local.americawantstowork.org/wirecall/#state/WI to see how you can help. And, of course, don’t forget to vote next Tuesday, June 5.
The race to defeat Walker is very close, and the entire nation is watching for the results. Every letter carrier in Wisconsin needs to stand up for our fellow union workers when it counts!
Fredric V. Rolando, President
National Association of Letter Carriers
