They say everything’s bigger in Texas, and it’s true. That’s why right now, 18 students are occupying the President’s office at the University of Texas, which rakes in more money off the sale of University-logo apparel than any other school in the world. Students are sitting in because UT President Powers has refused to take the most fundamental step to end sweatshop abuse in the over 4,400 factories making our school’s apparel by joining the Worker Rights Consortium.
